Digene Test
A digene test will determine which strain of human papillomavirus is present, which can cause the genital or penile wart.
It is considered to be the most sensitive screening tool for detecting some strains of Human papillomavirus, which is sexually transmitted and can lead to cervical cancer. Pap smear is effective for determining precancerous conditions and abnormalities in the cervix, but it cannot determine HPV itself.
