Freezing The Cervix
Freezing the cervix may be used for cryotherapy or for HPV diagnotic cone biopsy.
Cryotherapy is a time proven ablative method of curing early stages of cervical dysplasia, which can be applied in outpatient settings. In the procedure non-toxic gases (nitrous oxide carbon dioxid) are used. The tissues are frozen to -20 degrees that is enough for malignancies killing.
