Cervix Penetration
Sometimes cervix penetration is necessary to get to cervix tissue that is further up during a pap smear.
If the pain is more superficial, it may be again vaginismus, or other problems, such as lack of lubrication, menopausal or post-menopausal dryness, vaginal infections, injury, genital warts, vulvitis, haematoma of the clitoris, urethral caruncle, foreing body in the vagina, or cervical cancer.
