Cervix Incompetent Symptom
A cervix incompetent symptom would be inflammation, not caused by lichen sclerosus, but an inflamed cervix.
Often a cause cannot be found. Weakening during previous childbirth, DES exposure, cervical trauma--D&C, LEEP, biopsy-- hormonal affects, congenitally short cervical length, or other anomalies may be predeterminants. Ineffectual cervical dilation cannot be discounted during uterine contractions, bleeding, ruptured membranes, and intra-amniotic infection since pre/post relationships is not known.
A cervix incompetent symptom would be inflammation, not caused by lichen sclerosus, but an inflamed cervix.
