Cervical Infection
Cervical infection is indicated from an ASCUS pap or if condyloma is present.
Good hygiene and routine medical care will help in most cases. Pain may also be caused by psychological factors: previous sexual trauma, feelings of guilt, or negative attitude towards sex. Sometimes sexual intercourses may be painful due to dyspareunia, vaginitis, or some other factors.
