Cervical Biopsy
A cervical biopsy must be conducted before performing cryosurgery for condyloma of the cervix.
In most cases more than one tissue sample is obtained. The tissue sample is collected by using small biopsy forceps or a large needle. A doctor will take a tissue sample from areas that appear to be abnormal from performing the colposcopy.
