Leep Procedures
With leep procedures it is possible to remove genital warts, verruca, lichen sclerosus and other disorders.
A colposcope helps to locate abnormal cells properly. To remove the abnormal cells a loop electrode is attached to the generator and put into the vagina. If left untreated for a long time, such disorder may develop into cervical cancer.

It is performed only if a Pap smear test indicates the presence of abnormal cells on the surface of the cervix. It is one of the methods of treating cervical dysplasia of moderate and severe forms by a thing wire loop carrying an electrical current.
