Leep Gynecology
With a leep gynecology procedure and cone biopsy it is possible to remove genital wart and other disorders of the cervix.
Usually, this procedure is done for minor abnormalities, such as CIN 1 and 2, ASCUS, but not for severe forms. It is often performed during the initial colposcopy exam, if the affected area is rather small and can be treated in a time.

Cone Biopsy, Wart
During the procedure, a wire loop with electrical energy flowing through it is used to remove the abnormal cells. Loop excision is used to treat abnormal cervical tissues after a Pap smear test has shown abnormalities on the surface of the cervix.
