Colposcopy Images
With colposcopy images the patients can get ready for the exam; this operation is used not for treating genital wart, common wart and other disorders, but it is a mere diagnostic tool.
Low-grade disorders can be treated easily, but if left untreated for a long time, they may lead to cancer. It may be HPV, cervical dysplasia, various infections or other minor problems, so Pap smear tests should be performed regularly to avoid serious problems.

In this procedure a special instrument called colposcope is used. It is a large electric microscope with a bright light on the end of it, which makes it possible to visualize the surface of the cervix and to determine the cause of the abnormal cells.
