Cervical Dysplasia Treatments
Most cervical dysplasia treatments are to remove symptoms from the vaginal wart HPV viruses that cause the ASCUS results on a pap smear.
Electrocauterization (LEEP) allows the removed tissue to be examined; crysurgery and cryotherapy slough the abnormal tissues off by freezing them; laser vaporization or ablation is the savest operation, causing less scarring; cone biopsy is performed for high-grade disease and recurrence. Moderate and severe forms require special cure.
