Acuminatum
condyloma acuminatum is one of the cervical disorders; the other name for Condyloma is a genital wart.
Treatment is reserved for patients with visible condyloma. Pap smear tests can indicate the problem; colposcopy and biopsy are performed to determine its nature and location. HPV infection may lead to the development of cervical dysplasia and later to cervical cancer.

Often, this condition is asymptomatic. This condition is caused by some strains of Human papillomavirus (HPV-6, 11, 16 and 18), which is sexually transmitted. This type of a condyloma (or genital warts) is physically apparent in 1% of the sexually active population.
