Agcus Pap
The agcus pap or ASCUS results from a pap will often detect the presence of the human papillomavirus, which also causes vaginitis.
This test is usually done during a pelvic exam. It is a gentle scraping of the loose cells at the surface of the cervix. The sample is put on a glass slide and examined by a pathologist for any precancerous changes and abnormalities.
