Symptom Cervical Cancer
A symptom cervical cancer may be detected by colposcopy and treated with cryosurgery.
Typical signs are dysplastic cells of the cervix, and are commonly diagnosed through a pap exam. HPV is the only proven cause of dysplasia of the cervix. The higher risk grades of dysplasia are the ones to be concerned with, as they are more aggressive.

It is not uncommon for a Pap exam to be inconclusive, so a Digene Hybrid Capture HPV DNA test is the best way to test for signs of HPV. You can ask your Gynecologist, or a Urologist about being tested.
