Cervical Cancer Leep
In the prevention of cervical cancer, Leep procedures can be performed on early cervical cancer preconditions such as condyloma.
It is a kind of conization performed with electrosurgical loop to remove malignant cells and tissues from the cervix. The procedure has several advantages over cold-knife and laser conization: rapidity, preservation of the margins for histologic evaluation, and virtual bloodlessness.

Cervical Cancer Leep -
Cervical Cancer, Condyloma
The procedure is used for the diagnosis of positive cervical cytology and for treatment of CIN grades 2 and 3. The equipment for the procedure consists of generator that creates high-frequency low-voltage electric current, and an insulated thin wire loop. It can be performed in the office or in other outpatient settings. The patient can go home in a few hours after the procedure.
