Cancer Cervical Colposcopy
A cancer cervical colposcopy allows doctors to view and treat tissue with cervical dysplasia; it is unlikely that he can eliminate HPV entirely.
Physicians use a special instrument to show a magnified view of the cervix. It provides a view of abnormal cell activity, which is otherwise not visible to the naked eye and aids instrumentally in detecting abnormal cell growth.

The use of this magnification instrument is the second phase of abnormal cell detection following a pap smear exam which is the first phase of testing. A pap culture is tested for abnormal cell activity in the cervix. If abnormal cells are present, then a follow up exam using this instrument is performed.
