Bleeding Cervix
If there is unusual bleeding, cervix should be examined for cervical dysplasia, lesions, and other conditions and treated using cryosurgery or other means.
Spotting of small amount of blood between periods or very heavy periods, lasting for weeks at a time may have different causes. In premenopausal women light spotting a couple of days before the period is common and not worrisome. Birth control pills may cause spotting the first few months.
