Dysplasia Cervical Cancer
Dysplasia, cervical cancer, vaginitis and condyloma are all associated with the Human Papillomavirus.
This is dependant upon the aggressiveness of the type of HPV, and the individual’s immune health. The implications being that those abnormal cells could some day develop into cancerous cells. It’s normal to be concerned because of the implications. Many women are concerned when they have an abnormal Pap.

Pap tests are recommended annually, however some choose testing every 6 months for prevention. Doctors are trying to detect abnormal cell growth, to prevent cells from developing into cancerous tissue. This is the reason for annual Pap exams. Cancerous cells of the cervix are becoming all too common.
