Cervical Cancer Survivors
Cervical cancer survivors may have used cryotherapy as may have vulvar cancer survivors.
Pelvic examinations, including PAP smear should be taken regularly. To reduce the chances of getting the disease women should take the following measures: avoid sexual activity before 18 years old, avoid promiscuous partners or use condoms, and discontinue any tobacco use.
Cervical cancer survivors may have used cryotherapy as may have vulvar cancer survivors.

Cervical Cancer Survivors -
Cryotherapy, Vulvar
The chances of being alive 5 years after the diagnosis are: 80-85% for tumor limited to the cervix and uterus; 60-80% when the upper part of the vagina is involved; 30-50% for tumors beyond the cervix, but still in the pelvis; 14% when the tumor has spread beyond the pelvis.
