Cervical Cancer Picture
To take a cervical cancer picture, would require a cervical exam of the cervix.
The colposcopy is not uncomfortable, however the tissue sampling or biopsy can cause discomfort. This determines the severity and origin of the abnormalities. If the examining doctor sees any abnormalities, they will then take a tissue sample, or biopsy, and send the sample to a lab for further testing.

This allows the doctor to see patches of abnormalities. It magnifies a view of the cervix and vaginal walls. This is a special scope that is inserted vaginally. There is no visible way of looking at dysplastic cells, except through what is called a colposcopy.
