Medical opinions about Aloe vera
Most doctors who practice alternative medical therapy will be receptive to the benefits of Aloe vera. Many doctors who are traditional practitioners will also be receptive once they have become familiar with the published research about the benefits of Aloe. Many studies are required before a product gains widespread acceptance for a particular use.
In 1928, Alexander Fleming discovered penicillin. His work was published the very next year in the British Journal of Experimental Pathology. However, penicillin did not gain widespread use until 1946, almost 20 years after its discovery.
More recently, duodenal ulcers were treated with antacid therapy. It took several years before it became accepted that Helicobacter pylori was the bacterial cause of the ulcers. Ulcers are now treated primarily with antibiotics.
Nevertheless, doctors are now becoming more open-minded about natural therapies. Many will allow their patients the opportunity to try a natural therapy.
About.com listed the Health Science Report™ website on their Sexuality channel. Here is a quote from two of their editors:
"We love your site! We liked your website so much we placed a link to it on our website, About’s Sexuality Channel, currently ranked in MediaMetrix's top ten most visited sites on the Internet. Each Guide searches the Net for the very best content in his or her specialty. When we find a site that is particularly outstanding or inspiring, we list it in the relevant subject directory on our About site. Again, congratulations on having such a quality site!
Best wishes,
Dr. Sandor Gardos, Sexuality Guide, and Tamar Love, Associate Guide.”
